DMT: The Spirit Molecule (recently made into a movie of the same title) compiles the psychological research of Dr. Rick Strassman at the University of New Mexico in the early 1990's on DMT (dimethyltryptamine), a highly psychedelic chemical known to exist inside the human brain. Granted permission by the U.S. government to run intravenous tests on subjects who had experienced psychedelics in their past, Strassman's findings are astonishing.
